This is how we create the best PIM system – together
Most of the new features in our PIM system were conceived by our customers. They use our PIM system on a daily basis and know exactly what they want to do with it. That knowledge is indispensable for us – and it drives a large part of our product development. That is why we have entered into strong collaborations with our customers to create the best possible PIM system.
Pilot projects & Product Board
We ensure close cooperation with customers in two ways: Pilot projects and our Product Board. The pilot projects are close collaborations with a single ambitious customer who would like to help expand the system's functionality. For example, we have worked closely with the builders' merchants Davidsen Tømmerhandel, which, among other things, resulted in our Mass Edit function. With pilot projects, we get direct feedback on individual features and functions – on everything from needs and functionality to UX and UI. This ensures functions are well-tested and well-developed and are right for the people who actually work in the system on a daily basis.
Our Product Board ensures there is an overall direction for our PIM system. It is composed of members who work in both B2C and B2B. This ensures a broad understanding of the market and means that we create fully integrated solutions that suit both types of customers. The Product Board helps us prioritise which development projects to implement first and which projects we should take on at all. The Product Board consists of our largest customers, who have intimate knowledge of our software. Their intimate knowledge means they are the very best at helping us make decisions for the direction of the product. They can see how the use of PIM is changing in their own organisation and with their competitors. This provides the best conditions for making intelligent decisions about the future of our systems.Our product board is part of the reason why we optimised our systems for a PIM First Approach. All in all, the board ensures that we remain at the forefront and can develop the features that see the greatest demand.
Built for e-commerce
The close collaboration with customers gives us unique insights into how e-commerce is developing. This gives us the opportunity to stay very close to leading webshops and develop in line with their ever-growing ambitions and the latest technology. This ensures that our systems always support state-of-the-art e-commerce solutions. This does not mean that our systems are only suitable for pure players who are exclusively online. Our customers have advanced omnichannel solutions with many different points of sale – both in the digital world and in physical stores. Our PIM system fully supports this. This is the case because our systems have to deal with a complex and dynamic world. A world where new sales opportunities and buying situations arise all the time.
