Recipients of personal data

Personal data can be entrusted to external business partners who process the personal data on our behalf. We use external business partners for technical operation, improvements of the website as well as targeted marketing, including retargeting.

Our external business partners are data processors acting under our instructions and processes data for which we are data responsible. We have entered into data processing agreements in writing with all data processors that process personal data on our behalf.

Some of our data processors, Google, Meta and LinkedIn/Microsoft, are located in the US or owned by a US-based company. Data transfers to USA are possible by transmission by Google, Meta or LinkedIN to their sub-processors or affiliates companies, either for further processing for their own purposes contrary to the agreement entered in with Bizzkit, or in relation with governmental access requests in line with FISA-702, CLOUD-Act and E.O. 12333.

The sufficient guarantees for the transfer of personal data to the US are secured through the data processor’s signing of the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) pursuant to Article 45 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation. Note: Transfers from EU to US occur at the data processors and on their initiative and must be regarded as the exporter in the above-mentioned scenarios.

We have performed Transfer Impact Assessments (TIA) and concluded that sufficient safeguards are in place to guarantee essentially equivalent European essential rights in the import countries (USA). To be fully transparent, we emphasize that the current EU-legislation does not include any adequacy decision, and that USA therefore still is regarded an unsafe third country. In the US, there is legislation in place to support the conclusion made in our TIA, though.
