Dynamic content is an indispensable campaign tool

E-commerce is an ever-changing world, where dynamic content is a necessity. On Black Friday, there will be hourly offers, and stores always have at least one campaign running. Unfortunately, many e-commerce solutions are not built to handle the dynamics in the market. Therefore, in close cooperation with our customers, we have developed our CMS so that it actually solves their problems. We could see that they had problems when they made dynamic campaigns. Their pages had to be published and taken down manually. This meant that mistakes could easily occur in the middle of an intense campaign. That simply cannot happen, so we found a solution together: Scheduled Articles.

How does dynamic content work?

Our dynamic content is not just a matter of being able to publish pages at a certain time. It is more complex than that. A Scheduled Article is a changing landing page. You can create a campaign page on your webshop, just as you normally would, but it is possible to change the content on it. This means that you do not have to create new URLs and links to the campaign page. It updates itself continuously as you move through the hourly offers of the day.

The big advantage is that you can then create several successive campaigns on the same page. For example, you can run a campaign from the morning with an offer for alarm clocks. When evening comes, the page automatically switches to a campaign for night lights. This can all be planned in advance, and there is no need for any employee to stand by at the keyboard to activate the campaign. This entails a number of possibilities:

  • Preparing campaigns in good time is made easy.
  • This frees up employees from having to micro-manage details in the CMS.
  • You can combine your Scheduled Articles with your segmentation. That is, you can create a perfume campaign where men and women are shown two different fragrance series, for example.
  • You can organise everything from hourly offers to month-long campaigns.
  • You will not have to create new links from your front page or new campaign links on your webshop.
